Let’s touch BASE Events

BASE is more than a yearly conference: it’s a hub where entrepreneurs and changemakers can gather all year long to hear about new ideas, meet with like-minded professionals and strike up conversations and new collaborations.

BASE is an initiative by SPIN Ideas and our Co-founders also lead the Zebras Unite Amsterdam chapter. So all three organizations are joining forces to offer stimulating sessions and grow our community.

PAST ONLINE EVENTS (2021)

In March, the theme of our Let’s Touch base session was The importance of connection for happier teams. Sarah Metcalfe, Chief Happiness Officer at Happy Coffee Consulting, explained how focusing on relationships is the key to creating a happier workplace.

In May, our very own Veronica Guguian, Co-founder of BASE and Marketing Strategist at SPIN Ideas, co-led a session with David Chislett, Creativity Consultant at David Chislett Training. They offered a workshop on the theme of Exploring cross-border and cross-industry opportunities. Veronica and David showed us how to adopt the right mindset and method to open up to new opportunities and collaborate with professionals from other industries or abroad.

In June, we partnered with Zebras Unite Amsterdam for their kick-off event. Zebras Unite is a community of entrepreneurs, investors, and allies dedicated to building companies that balance both profit and purpose. Astrid Scholz, Co-founder of the global movement Zebras Unite, came to present her community.

In August, we hosted another session with Zebras Unite Amsterdam about the importance of Redefining success post pandemic. Stephen Dargan and Sarah Metcalfe from the Happy Workplace Hub shared with us their insights on the topic.
